The Pole Lodge

The Pole Lodge is our recently acquired property and is really 2 houses in one. The upper level sleeps 8, and the lower level sleeps 4 and can be hired separately or together by the same party of people.

It features breathtaking views of the beach and the Pacific Ocean from the living spaces, and the large North and East facing deck provides abundant space to relax and enjoy the closeness of the sea.

The formal area is open planned and spacious. The Kitchen is well stocked with an adequate array of cooking utensils and equipment, however there are no electrical appliances provided due to limited generator capacity. The cooking facilities in the kitchen include a gas oven, gas stove with a grill doubling as a toaster. A BBQ is provided downstairs and meals can be enjoyed on the outdoor dining setting. Generous cold storage is provided by a large fridge/freezer in the kitchen and another large fridge and additional chest freezer at the back entrance. A bait freezer is located in the downstairs laundry.

The master bedroom faces the sea and contains a queen bed, and generous storage cupboards. The second bedroom is a dormitory room containing 2 trilogy beds (double bed below and single bed on the upper bunk). Pillows, doonas, light blankets and mattress protectors are provided, but guests need to bring their own sheets, pillow cases and towels.

The house has an upstairs shower (no bath) and a separate toilet.

The lower level is completely separated from the upstairs and is a large open planned room with a kitchen, small dining table and a shower and toilet. The sleeping configuration comprises a Queen bed and 2 single beds.
